ASUS P9X79 Pro can't boot? PSU or mobo issue?

Hey guys!

After around 6 months of amazing use, my homebuilt desktop has suddenly decided not to work any longer.. The small power and reset button on the mobo lights up as always as soon as the PSU is plugged in, but whenever I press the power button either on the mobo or on the front of the case, nothing happens except an extremely fast blink from the case-fan LED when in-case.

I have already tried reseting the cmos, and taking everything out of case to exclude the possibility of grounding issues and building everything from scratch (Yes also tried with, without and with only one RAM inserted) and trying to boot multiple times along the way, but nothing.. Just the power and reset button lit on the mobo.

Specs:
Mobo: ASUS P9X79 Pro
CPU: Intel i7 3930K (Only OC'ed to 3,8GHz)
RAM: Kingston HyperX 4x4Gb 1600 MHz
PSU: Corsair TX850
Graphics: EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW

And the timing of it all is really bad as I have loads of work to finish on it :(
Anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

Many thanks!

Solution
well mainly for these types of issue 70% of times the motherboard is the culprit but before sending the motherboard to warranty just make sure with a a different psu that its surely the boards fault ...
