Hello!

I just ordered an 1000mb/s packet from my ISP. Inserting a cable from my modem to my PC works with 900-950 mb/s at speedtest.net but when inserting the modem to the router and the router to my PC, I only get 200mb/s. My router has gigabit LAN ports, and I use CAT6 cables. I configured my PC to use NIC at 1.0 GB/s, but still nothing happens. I'm not wirelessly connected to the PC.
The router is a Linksys EA3500

The review at smallnetbuilder http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-review... shows that this router is only capable of 200+ Mbit throughput. You need a new router. The "ROUTER RANKER" http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/rankers/router/view can help you. Look at the "Routing Throughput" statistic.

thanks a lot, if I can buy a separator or whatever it is called ( some thing that has 1 IN and 4 OUT or so ) connect one OUT to the router, and the rest with cable to the PCS ( not through router ) can I get 1000mb/s?

It would still be a router (WAN in, multiple ports out). They do make wired only routers (not a lot any more), or you can get a wireless capable router and turn off the wireless portion.
