So I have an ssd containing my windoze and a 2tb storage drive.

I attempted to try and install kali to a 100gb partition on my secondary drive and ended up accidentally making the swap 1gb (does it need to be bigger?)

Everything seemed to install fine however I have to swap boot order everytime I want to use the other os as grub won't detect my windoze

My mobo supports uefi and legacy simultaneously... What gives

Things may have changed in the last 5 years or so, but I was under the impression Linux was still relevant. I've tried googling but have only found convoluted tips to my problem. Unsure if it pertains to my current situation

How can we know what's wrong without logs or basic info like partition info?

Also I would expect someone who has a legitimate use for Kali to know how to do basic Linux trouble shooting.

Best of luck finding a mind reader to fix your PC...

As they say on the Kali web site

"The fact of the matter is however, that Kali is a Linux distribution specifically geared towards professional penetration testing and security auditing and as such, it is NOT a recommended distribution for those unfamiliar with Linux."

It's amazing how many professionals there seem to be doing professional penetration testing. Even more amazing that these professionals can't solve a simple problem like dual booting.
