Hey all, I recently upgraded to the i7 4770k cpu and I am having issues overclocking. The problem is I can't sadly when I ran prime95 or intel burn test at stock speeds my voltage jumps all the way up to 1.165 which I think is very high for stock, I tried over clocking to 4.2 and there is no way it's letting me, I keep getting blue screens, do I have a bad cpu because it requiers a lot of voltage to oc.

If you think 1.16V is high, most people who push their original Haswell to 4.3GHz and beyond need 1.25-1.3V.

The REAL max is around 1.5V if you can get the temperatures on safe level, but what is your cooling and temperatures like? And what Motherboard/bios?
