How do I force output to DVI port?

I have an R7 260X graphics card that has an HDMI port, two DVI ports, and some other port that's not important since I have no cords or monitors to use it with. What I'm trying to do is force it to output to one of the DVI ports regardless of if it can detect the monitor or not. It's not a card problem and it's not a monitor problem because the monitor was working perfectly in that port right until I pressed "detect displays" with a monitor in the HDMI port and one in the DVI port; the HDMI monitor still works perfectly fine, but after I tried to detect the two displays while they were both working, it decided to completely ignore the DVI monitor no matter what I do. It refuses to detect it and I have no other options but to try and force it to output to DVI. There has to be some way to get this to work, because Windows has an option that will try to force output to VGA ports if it can't detect a monitor... which would be helpful if I had any VGA ports in the first place. I don't even know why it suddenly stopped working, because nothing changed between then and now. Rebooting doesn't work, different cords don't work, nothing. Any help is appreciated, and sorry for not really writing this in an organized manner.

Solution
Go to AMD Catalyst Control Center (assuming you have it installed) and go to Common Display Tasks and hit the Detect Displays tab and press Identify. Let me know what happens. Also, download SlimDrivers (https://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimdrivers.php) and check to see if all your drivers are up to date.
