Hi. I am looking for an replacement GPU for my recently acquired DELL optiplex 960. It has :
Intel Duo E8500
4GB ram (soon to be 8GB @800 MHZ)
235 WATT power supply
Q45/Q43 mother board
and
DEll ATI Radeon HD3450 256M or DELL ATI Radeon HD3470 256M GPU
I have the small form factor unit , so i only have 1 PCI expressx16 (1st gen). The manual specifies that the GPU can't go over 35 Watts and has to be an low profile half length card. So , in light of discovering that this disaster is in my PC, are there any cards out there that match the power requirements listed, with half decent specs? I would like to at least get 1080 p video and at best play Minecraft. It needs to have linux and windows XP/7 support. Last thing is that im trying to keep the card under $100.00 USD, but any suggestions help. PLEASE HELP !
