How Many Fans Do I Need?

Hi,
This is my first time building a PC, and I am trying to figure out how many fans I need to get sufficient airflow throughout the case. Is it right to mount the exhaust fans on the top and back of the case, and the intake on the front/bottom? I will be using the computer mainly for gaming and school work.

Also, would these parts be compatible with each other? Thanks in advance.

In the front/bottom, out the back/top.

How many? Only as many as needed, and no more.

As far as your parts list:

Do not buy or use that PSU. Ever. Under any circumstances.

The parts are all compatible, but the PSU is... well, low quality, to be kind. Check out this tiered list and try to stay in the top 3 tiers. That GTX 770 is going to need a quality 600W or better power supply with 2 x 6+2 pin PCIe cables. https://community.newegg.com/eggxpert/computer_hardware...
The case is good quality, but doesn't have much room behind the MB tray for cable management. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider.
You probably don't need ANY more fans with the 2 big intake and the 120mm exhaust. And yes, you have the correct idea about intake and exhaust layout. If you want to add more fans, the side panel would be about the only place that would be available from what I see.

Thank you both for helping me with this. I picked out a new PSU. Does this one look better?

Not the best, but MUCH better. The HIVE line of Rosewill (Newegg in-house brand) PSUs are very decent PSUs. I have used them in several builds over the years and all are still running strong.
