This is my first attempt at building a computer, my limit for everything(including keyboard and monitor etc.) is $1500, preferably under. I'm looking for advice on anything that I might be missing(sound card), or if there are just simply better parts I could be using. I should mention I'm going for a gaming rig, to play Star Citizen on with the highest graphics possible., thanks for the help!

Thanks for the replies so far. I read an article on here that said something like once you get passed $300 for video cards there aren't many gains for the money which is why I originally stayed around there with the superclocked GTX770 but maybe that won't cut it.

It has an AMD card so Star Citizen can use Mantle, giving you a performance gain.
I also chose a better CPU cooler, a Z97 board so you won't need a BIOS Update, an SSD to make the PC faster and less Overkill RAM
