Hi
Doing a new build here i already have the following parts :
Asus gtx 770 2gb oc
Supernova 850w
Corsair Hydro 80i

and i'm planing on getting these parts :

Intel Core i7 Processor i7-4770 3.4GHz 8MB Retail

CORSAIR Dominator Platinum or Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 2400MHz....the more Mhz means the better right ?

asus maximus vii hero z97

Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD or Kingston 240GB SSDNow V300 KIT...which one is better ?

are all the parts fine for a build ? i mean as working together ?

Solution

Hyper-threading basically lol
Not much for gaming. Like negligible. For video editing and servers it probably helps.

Thing is i already have the PSU (can't return it)...i know, i should have got something lower for a PSU :~
and for the K version i'm not planning on getting it cuz of my budget, getting the K will mean ill have 2 forget about the SSD so its better to go with the normal version with the SSD than the K without the SSD....'

Get the K. You can always add an SSD sooner or later. Otherwise you may as well drop the Z97 chipset and go with a H97. Or go with a 4690k. It's only got hyper threading, I would recommend getting ram with a voltage of around 1.5V.
Intel recommend that.

what if i get this :

Intel Core i7-4790 Processor 3.6GHz 8MB ?

Should i still get the K ? and what does the K have over the normal version ? is it just the overclock thing ?

EDIT: "1.5V" i dont really get you here, are u saying that its better if it has lower V. or ?

Yeah overclocking. If it's for gaming, go for the i5 unlocked. With a Z97 mobo, it's pointless to use a locked chip. H97 costs less so you could put more money in your other parts.
