I bought and HP Envy 700-216 long story short they didn't load os and I want to install windows 7 I finally after 9 hours got installed so many issues! Now I need the drivers 1 hour with HP none of those worked 1 hour with microsoft no help!

Someone please help me! I need ethernet driver windows 7 64 bit.

You should just have to use the setup.exe file, and that should install the driver you need. The other option is to install it manually by going to Device Manager and right click on the device and choose update driver. Then go to where you downloaded the file and chose the Win7 folder than the 64 folder and hit ok.

according to this this is supported with windows 8.1 and hp may have the bios fixed to only accept 8.1 you got to know these boards are hp spec. and not like custom boards so not saying this is 100% reason but you got to know your dealing with hp. and most times its a one way street -- there way or no way--

I don't understand why these drivers for the other windows and theres no bios downloads unless older models came with 7 but it don't show them .. funny.

dude you may be in a fix on that deal.. but I hope the best for you...good luck

way back when my first computer was a hp and learned as you are with it but I just ended up replaceing the motherboard with a msi m-atx and never looked back and never went with another prebuilt.. just like guys trying to upgrade there vid-cards in them just to find that don't work on most of them too..

I guess these boards are for your chip in that hp and it should be a micro-atx sized board
