Chipset Thermistor temperature high and thermal sensors out of range

I have an inspiron 14r 5421 a few days ago the system suddenly shut down so I ran a full system check and the temperature for the chipset thermistor was high I also got a thermal sensors out of range error message. What's causing this and how can I fix it?

Those components are integrated into the motherboard. There are no serviceable or replaceable parts for this type of problem.

You can try opening the case and inspecting for dust buildup or a case fan failure. Perhaps a good cleaning may solve the problem. Otherwise, Contact Dell.
