VGA driver, recommended on the site or on the direct download center?

Sooo I have been wondering, the recommended VGA driver on my laptop's site is on the 2012.06.14 update ( Version V8.17.12.9667 ) and on the intel download center there is an updated version of it but only as a graphics driver.

Is there a difference between VGA and graphic driver??

If I would just install the one on the intel download center(the updated one) rather than the recommended one on my laptop's site(the outdated one) would my newly reformatted laptop work the same? or vise versa

(the updated graphic driver)

if it works okay with just the drivers from asus, run with that. there may be a future update from asus based on the latest intel driver,

The terms VGA driver and graphics driver are sometime used interchangeably. If you are after the Intel driver for the on-die GPU, either one will be fine. The latest will be preferred. But apparently your laptop also has an Nvidia Geforce GT 610M graphics card (chip). That should be the graphics solution you use for gaming. But yes, you can get the Intel driver from either place.

Are you sure that I can use either Intel? Also, my Nvidia sucks :/
I use integrated graphics pretty much everywhere.

Tech-wreck I also thought that so I tried downloading the recommended intel then just downloading the update. After I installed the recommended I updated it with the latest intel then it said that it's not compatible or it's already updated I think.
