Second HDD detected in BIOS, not in Computer/Hard Disk Drives

A few minutes ago I installed a second HDD into my computer. As I booted, I checked BIOS, saw it was detected. But after my computer booted, Windows wasn't detecting the second hard drive. It was under Device Manager and Computer Managment, but I can't access it through Computer because it doesn't show up. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Did you create a partition and format it(in device manager)?

You should create a Simple Volume/Partition in your drive and format it. You can do that in Windows Disk Management not in Device Manager.

Try to assign a drive letter to this drive in Disk Management(just right click it here to choose "Change drive letters and paths") and format this drive there.
