PC video card not detected

I just bought an HP desktop that comes with two video cards - each card has one dvi and one vga. I want to add a third monitor using the secondary video card but its not working.
Both video cards came with the PC built in- that is I didn't add them

you cant connect the other monitor to the other video card, everything has to be connected to the primary card

for crossfire or sli

If its in crossfire or sli you can use the outputs on the other cards if they're independent you can't.. Make sure the bridge is active and give full system specs

plug both of the monitors into one GPU, and then enable SLI in the driver
