Hey guys, I was building an awesome sysem, and wanted to top it off with a custom case Logo (Haf 932 Advanced). I wanted to use the MSI Red Dragon Logo (I like them equally to other companies, but this dragon is bad*** and really fits my Red/Black asthetic)-

I am going to use Photoshop to create and print out the Stencil to use to paint it, but need help for a few other things, like-
What paint should I use?
What method? Spray Paint? Single Coat? Single Primer and Regular Coat? ect.
Would I be breaking any Copyright claims ( I will cut out the actual letters "MSI, but will be using an MSI Mobo")?
What method will make it most durable (chipping mostly)?

if its a metal case like mine is I just used automotive pant like used on your car just go to you parts house that deales in auto body supplies and get the paint color book choose what you want and get a pint .. .. just think how long and nice the paint on a new car looks and lasts anyway that's how I repainted mine.

buy a spray can . Scratch the surface you want to paint with a scotchbrite pad [ plastic mesh abrasive kitchen cleaning cloth ] . Mask the whole case . Newspaper works well .
Peel off the masking b4 the paint dries

or alternately you can supply a sign writer with a jpg and have a vinyl sticker cut

spray paint is fine for plastic parts of the case I wish I could remember what brand I used on this one in 3 years it has not chipped or flaked off the front plastic cover . seemed like the can had meant for plastic use on it and was like 3 bucks more than regular spray paint . spray paint is ''good enough'' but the quality of the paint =the quality of the job-- you know how a car with a fresh paint job looks [metallic candy apple red msi dragon ].. you can check out you local autobody shop and see how is the one that folks go to for there custom paint jobs and hook up with the guy and for a case of beer if you supply the stuff he may shoot it for you

I'll head over to the nearest auto-body shop and see how much it'll be. Should be easy enough for them.
