Hello everyone,

I'm having a strange issue with my 'Kingston DT101 G2' 32 GB flash USB. I don't know what happened and how can it malfunctioned so badly... I remember fully FAT32 formatting the USB and got stuck at 49% for a long time so, I removed it unsafely. I need to fix this USB with ur help cause it's showing me 0 MB plus it's a 32 GB & I can copy lots of data... Are there any permanent fixes available?

Any detailed help will be appreciated.

Thnx...

Hey I'm super sorry for not replying for a long time. Odd thing is, i actually have this problem myself. But I found a solution!

I used this program called EaseUS Partition Master

http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

With this, I was able to create new partitions on my then almost dead and RAW formatted USB drive. Afterwards, I formatted the new partition in a FAT32 file system. I was almost in tears when I found that it WORKED when nothing else did!

Unfortunately when I tried to convert it from FAT32 to NTFS, it stalled for a really long time. I got impatient and unplugged it, and it went back to RAW again. Only this time, Windows wont even detect it (aka I killed it).

I hope this helps you. If you need help with Partition...

Does the file system show as RAW?

You can try doing a elevated prompt format.

First open command prompt as admin.

Then type in format Drive_Letter FS:FAT32

It should format the drive to FAT32, more thoroughly than the graphical interface format.
