My graphics card only has one HDMI port, and I plan to have two monitors on HDMI. My Motherboard has an HDMI port... So my question is, if I plug my first monitor into my card's hdmi port, and my second monitor into the mobo's hdmi port, would that mean that both monitors are not running on the GPU? In other words, is my second monitor running in integrated graphics chip because it's connected to the mobo, rather than the card directly (as is the case with the first monitor)?
I would find out by plugging everything into place, but my rig is not finished, I'm still waiting for the PSU. It arrives tomorrow, but I just want to know in case I need to buy a DVI cable for my second monitor.
