When using my integrated graphics my usable ram is at 5.86, when I insert my dedicated card in my ram is then at 5.87. Shouldnt the card free up that .14 of memory seeing its a dedicated graphics card? Why is it only making .1 more memory available? Does anyone know why it won't free up all of my ram so I can have 6 gb total? Does anyone else have this card and can they tell me how much ram it frees up for them? I'm not sure if this is a motherboard/bios problem or if it is the card that is causing this. I know it's a very old card so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the cards fault. If it is then I'll just go buy a more modern card. Please help. Thanks.

Is the card actually picking up load or is the integrated graphics still working (might need to change that in BIOS)?

the card works great and is fully functional. im just annoyed that it wont make memory available. and yes prior to installing the card i disabled the integrated graphics in the bios.

Show a screenshot of your RAM usage in task manager (the bar with memory composition).
