I have ASUS M4A88T-M USB3. Getting 1 long 2 short beeps while starting the pc. My pc config is as follows:
M4A88T-M USB3,
PhenomII X6 1090T@3.2GHz
4GB (2X2GB) Dynate 1066MHz
500W Intex SMPS
500GB Seagate

I checked with 1 RAM at a time on different slots, removed all connections and devices and run only Motherboard, but still getting those beeps.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Thanks
Vishal

Solution
If you are certain you did reset the bios then your integrated graphics is dead. There isn't anything you can do about it other than install a new discrete graphics card.

Hi,

Yes, its my VGA is corrupted and my mobo's warranty period is over, so planning to buy new mobo. But AM3 socket mobo is out of stock everywhere.
So will my AMD PhenomII X6 1090T (AM3 socket) will work on AM3+ socket motherboard?
If Yes, then which one is best mobo with AM3+ in my budget i.e. >70$?

Thanks.

Hi,

I asked 1 of the PC service center, he told me tht if I go with external graphic card then also during 1st boot, onboard VGA required for initial signal..something like that.

I am in confusion now. If I buy ext. graphic card, will it work with no beep codes?

I'll check with my friends ext. graphic card and will let you know.

Thanks.
