So a couple of days ago HP sent a technician to fix my Pavilion P6 series PC because of what was thought to be a faulty motherboard. Before this when it was working I could get a consistent 60 FPS on most games, and I didn't experience random crashing. They replaced the motherboard and video card and now after about 5 minutes I get between 10-30 FPS on the lowest settings. Any idea on what could cause this?

The specs are:
Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
Processor: AMD A8-5500 APU
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Motherboard: MSI MS-7778
PSU: Internal 300W (100V-240V)
GPU: GeForce GT 620

I don't see a discrete video card in your specs. I doubt an APU with its integrated graphics can get 60 FPS on the latest games out there. Perhaps you just forgot to list it down?

Yeah, I did forget to list it. I don't own most of the newer games because they won't run anyways, I mostly play TF2, BF3 and Dota 2. That being said, since the repair the performance has been very poor, which is my main concern.
