Computer specs :

3930k @ 4.7ghz. Highest temp between the 6 cores was 73 C when running Furmark for an hour and a half.

GTX 690 QUAD SLI @ 1170mhz gpu and 1190mhz mem offset

Monitor : Single Monitor Dell U3011 30inch 2560x1600, 60hz

Asus Rampage IV Extreme

Corsair H100i

Corsair AX1200i

Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB 4gbx8, 2400mhz, but it's at 1600mhz. My computer crashes or does not start up when I try and exceed 1600mhz(same thing happened with my old 1866mhz Dominator Platinums). I had to clear CMOS battery several times. Also, my computer is reading only 24GB of RAM.

Windows score 7.8

Additional Details :

My computer is stable with my current settings when I run Furmark and I get 87% better than most computer when I run 3DMark11 at the highest settings.

The most FPS I get in BF4 with a GTX 690 QUAD SLI without MSAA turned on, is 120fps. But it dips all the way down to 20fps when there are small or big explosions. With 2x MSAA, I normally get 80fps and drops down to 10fps when there are explosions. With 4x MSAA, I normally get 65fps and it drops down to 10fps. My internet connection is perfectly fine too (60mbps DL speed, 6mbps Upload Speed).

My card runs Arma 3 pretty smoothly at around 50-65fps in ultra. However it begins to stutter when I'm playing CS:GO and BF4.

GTX Titan runs CS:GO very smoothly and I get the same FPS as I would with an overclocked 690 QUAD SLI. The single Titan does not perform well in BF4 with 2560x1600 on ultra settings (20-45fps).

I really don't know why my fps is so low in BF4. Also how come my computer is only reading 24GB of ram when I have 32GB installed?

Cores or CPU temps?
CPU temp. I am using core temp.

Have you got it overclocked?
Yes.

My 3930k is on 33C idle (3.2GHz). Vcore 0.966V. Its 18C in the room here.
I will be able to give you a more detailed response when I run my computer later today. It is 1:10AM here, so at around 12-1PM

Also, I mentioned the thing about unable to overclock my ram in the previous post. Could you help me with that??

What CPU temp (not core temp) - idle and gaming? From your UEFI.

You should get around 30-35C idle and 40-45C gaming - without overclock. It just that one major cause of pc's not getting 100% speed is due to cpu's getting too hot.

Also - what%usage is your cpu at when running BF4? (per Task Manager.

Ram Speed.

To get 2400MHz from your ram, just enable XMP in bios. I've got 16gb 2133.

What OS you got?

Oops I accidentally hit the solution button.

Yes the two lots are identical in voltages and timing.

Even at the vram wall he shouldn't be stuttering I hit it and have no issues when in 5760x1080. Have you tested each individual 690 on their own to observe their performance? The biggest issue I'm going to assume is the SLI profile as games may have working useable profiles but still can have bugs.

not to mention quad sli is even more problematic than 2 way sli, and is known to be problematic.

I was able to OC the RAM to 2133mhz successfully and it proved to be stable. However, it still resulted in the same FPS and problems I had prior to the OC. I also checked each ram and found none were faulty. My OS as of now detects 4GB when I install 1 stick of RAM, 12GB of 16GB, and 24GB of 32GB. I tried booting the lots separately and the only difference were the versions. First set read version 4.13, and the other 5.12. Otherwise the timings and frequencies were the same. I will run the 690s separately later today or tomorrow.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

Also, is it worth upgrading the Rampage IV Extreme to the black edition? The rampage iv extreme supports up to 2133mhz OC, whereas the black edition supports up to 2800mhz OC (if I am not mistaken). I'm also thinking of upgrading my storage to 3x Intel 730 480GB at RAID 0. I have heard intel ssd's are more stable in RAID 0 than other competitors. If I choose that route, what kind of controller card do I need?

GTX 690 Quad SLI? 2 GTX 690's? That's essentially 4 GTX 680's.

I would say to turn up resolution scaling but your 2GB VRAM would cap out and begin to stutter, not to mention the microstutter you are already receiving...

Try taking 1 GTX 690 first and play all your games and see what happens.
