I'm looking to build a new PC and wanted to know if a 120gb ssd or a 1TB HDD would be better. I'm not going to have big files since I'm mainly going to be playing Minecraft and source games. The reason I'm asking if 120gbs is enough is because I'm looking to make a YouTube channel and recording gameplay takes up a bit of room. Should I get the 120gb ssd and have to delete all my vids or should I get the 1tb drive and now worry about storage for a while?

How about getting a 1TB SSHD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178381
It works using an 8 GB mini SSD cache on the drive and will accelerate your most used small files and still leave space for you for your recordings on the normal HDD part of the drive. It automatically knows not to cache large files such as videos. I think a 120GB SSD in general is just too small. Once you update windows completely and download a couple of steam games it will be full and you will still need a backup drive.

Even if you get both drives (120gb ssd and 1tb HDD) the 120 is still a bit too small these days for a boot drive and to keep your games on it.

I would get a 1TB SSHD (best of both worlds). A good compromise with least...
