hi guys today i tried to open my pc as i always do to play some games but the pc instead to fully open as it always does stuck a a black screen with an A2 on the right bottom corner i tried first to disconnect my HDD just to see if its a disc error and my pc when i open it again booted normaly on my bios . The it was almost completly clear to me that the HDD has problem because i tried to connect and disconnect it 2-3 times and the same thing happend but just because i was also supsicious that it might be a PSU error i unistalled a hub i had installed in my mobo (sd/cf/usb2 hub)and i reconnected the HDD and my pc booted immediatly! . im really confused from the situation i described and i dont know what the problem was any ideas are appreciated thanks :)

Solution
A2 on screen means "problem detecting the drive".

My guess is the hub is faulty, causing the boot problem. So don't use it, leave it disconnected. Buy a new hub if you need one.

You can also test the drive to be sure it's healthy or not. Test it with a bootable CD containing "Drive Fitness Test".
Download the CD Image from here: http://www.hgst.com/support/downloads/legacy-downloads#DFT

You can create the CD from the CD Image with IMGBurn: http://filehippo.com/download_imgburn

Then boot your PC from that CD. Choose "ATA only" when it appears on screen, then the drive testing interface will appear shortly after.
