Is the COSAIR VS650 good enough for two Gigabyte 660 oc windforce editions in SLI

Maybe, but I still wouldn't recommend it. If you absolutely have to, use the Corsair VS unit. Even though it's poor quality, I still trust Corsair's PSUs more than Gigabyte's. Beware though, you might end up frying the power supply.

im based in South Africa - i got a decent 900watt 80plus silver and got the vs650 for free - but the odin psu i can get for cheap second hand. i cant afford a new psu.

based on calculations on what im going to run the total watt is approx 480 on load - even tho the vs650 and odin are not 100% guaranteed 80% efficiency don't you think it could still keep up - good brands

I know for a fact I can run them with the 900watt I've been running a i5750 overclocked with two 470gtx in Sli for the past 4yrs. I needed to know if the Odin or corsair could do it cause they not 80 plus certified
