Hi,
I need quick answer.
How increase in performance in % can I expect in games when I overclock i5-4690K on 4.0GHz (on stock voltage) instead of buying i5-4590 (3.3/3.7 Boost)?

Is it worth to pay 30€ more for Z-series motherboard and K-procesor?

Graphic will be Sapphire Tri-X 290 or 280x.

It depends allot on the game, sometimes you may gain a tiny bit more fps but not a whole lot

The k processor would only really benefit years from now, when it starts to age and you need more life out of it

Right now, any 3rd/4th gen i5 will do

I will be overclocking it only on limit without voltage increasing (so not heavy OC).
So you think, there will be some benefit in games or only very marginal benefit?

Most of the latest games are not going to accept that kind of overclocking until you reconsider to step up the stock voltage.

if you dont do a heavy OC, i dont think the price is worth the small fps gain.

In some games should be a fairly small increase, while others, none at all

I don't think it would be enough to make any noticeable difference

In most games yes, but I think the k processor is a good option for the future

Also if I never increase frequency above 4.0GHz?

If you want to make the most out of that chip, you will have to increase the voltage to get higher speeds. I can't tell you how much you can expect in the future though it should get you more than what you would get now. It also varies with games
