Hi all,
I've put together a shopping list of parts for a new music production PC, I just want to double check that I won't have any issues re: compatibility, and that everything will work fine with the parts I'm ordering?

CPU:
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz 8MB

Motherboard:
Asus Z97-A S1150 Intel Z97 DDR3 ATX

Memory:
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Storage
Crucial 512GB M550 SATA 6GB/s 2.5" 7mm Solid State Drive

Additional Storage:
Seagate 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive

Video Card:
Asus GeForce GT 610 810MHz 2GB PCI-Express 2.0 HDMI Low Profile

Case:
Cooler Master 690 III ATX Mid Tower Case

CPU Cooler:
Cooler Master Seidon 120V 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Power Supply:
CoolerMaster 650W VS Series V650S 80 Plus Gold Modular PSU

Optical Drive:
Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

I'm aware that this is a fairly expensive build, and that I could get cheaper, lesser parts for what I'm after, but following asking several questions on here, this is the build I'm happy with, and hope will offer the best performance and be fairly future proof in terms of software and VSTs I use and plan on getting... Any help is appreciated :D

very good build :)

you dont need GT 610 actually
use integrated intel GPU HD 4600 from i7

if you really want a dedicated gpu, at least the latest GTX 750 which has the lowest power consumption

Put it together on pcpartpicker.com - that should flag any compatibility issues

No,no,no. Don't ever get the vs series. You must be meaning the gs series. The vs series is not even bronze certified let alone gold.
Also the integrated gpu on the i7 (hd 4600) actually comes close to beating the gt 610 and according to gamedebate defeats it : http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=1438&gid2=...
If you do want a dedicated gpu get yourself atleast Radeon R7 260X or 750 ti. If you ever change your mind and want to game on your pc, It'll do well. The r7 260x is going for 90$ :http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=XFX-R726X1&c=C...

Or just get a gt 630 atleast.

Why don't you get an antec or seasonic or corsair psu like this one: http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-650w-gold-professi...

Cooler master is not a good brand for psu's

I would get a 1TB HDD and not get the GT 610 since the integrated graphics should give the same performance and upgrade to either faster RAM or 32gbs since you want lots of ram if you're using virtual instruments and if you're going to have a lot of plugins.

I've not ordered the GT610, as its been mentioned I'll not need it... Re: RAM, I'll get another set of the same RAM in a month or so, right now I'm just wanting it up and running, the 16gb will see me ok just now ;)

CoolerMaster 650W VS Series is good enough

Akhil Potukuchi mistaken it for Corsair VS series which is a mediocre PSU

Ah cool, as I had based my choice on that list... For my needs is it a good choice, or should I look at spending an extra £20/30 and buy a better one?
