Graphics cards hitting 98%

Hi,

Ive got 2 Nvidia 780s in SLi and when I play on certain games they BOTH hit 98-99% usage and my game lags every so often.

Games it's happened on:
Watch Dogs
Farcry 3
ACBF
GRID Autosport

Should this be happening?

Ps, I'm playing it through my 47" LG Smart 3D TV via HDMI, would this cause problems

PC specs:
i7 4930k
16GB DDR3 RAM
2x 780 GPUs
Asus Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard
1000W PSU

They could be throttling, Nvidia set their maximum temperature as <>80C if it gets over that the card automatically downclocks.
It's normal for the top card in an SLI setup to run a little hotter than the lower if the cards are close together, try using Afterburner to set a more aggressive fan profile for the upper card if this is the case.

One reaches roughly 82c, other about 74c
