Acer Aspire m5 Cd/Dvd drive broke, replacement part?

Hi Everyone,

I have an Acer Aspire M5-481PT-6644, Which I bought refurbished a year ago. It works perfectly but it was recently dropped and the CD/DVD driver popped out completely. So what I did was remove the disc drive from the ribbon and now I think I will be needing a new part since I noticed a metal rod came out of the CD/DVD driver part when it dropped. (As for the Laptop, it is still working perfectly, it is just the CD/DVD driver is no longer in its slot since I took it out so I would not ruin the ribbon.)

With that, what CD/DVD driver should I get? and where?

I appreciate your time and help!

the only form of a number that was on the driver was a QR code that creates the number : 997/ +01/ +00/ 2G317506/ 1601

I am not sure if that is the number you asked for?
  3. When I reread what you wrote, all the optical drive came out or just the tray where you insert the CD?

Thank you very much! It looks perfect and it is the right model!
  7. The reason the optical drive popped out, is because it's missing the screw to hold it in place.
