Hello. I have been getting horrible lag on skyrim for no reason, My specs.: GTX650, i5 4440 and 8gbs of ram (clocked at 3200mhz). Please tell me, I should not have a problem running this game even with some graphics mods. Thanks.

More about : horrible lag skyrim decent specs

It depends on what those graphical mods are. If you are running an ENB preset then you'll need a really powerful GPU to keep FPS up.

Off the top of my head I would suggest backing up and then deleting skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini from My Documents > My Games > Skyrim and letting the launcher recreate them.

The GTX650 is a low end card really. And adding graphical mods will not help that at all.

I think the point is YOU think you should be able to run mods and your system is up to it, but you actually have a low end GPU. So clearly your expectations are incorrect. And you haven't even described the supposed lag.

Umm sorry, Fps lag. And my gpu is fine I can play Battlefield 4 maxed out and still get 50-60 fps and you have to take in a count of how buggy and unoptimized it is.

At what resolution? And is it single or multiplayer that you are maxing out BF4 with that card?
