hey guys am considering swapping my HD7850 2GB to a EVGA 780TI Superclocked but not sure if my CX600 PSU is able to handle it. Also would it be worth spending the 40 bucks more for a Superclocked or would i be just fine with a normal one ?

Solution
Grab the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler instead. It's cheaper than the other two models that you linked while also having a higher factory overclock with their ACX cooler.

The CX600 should get the job done since that's the minimum recommended. But if I were you, I'd get a bigger unit to protect my investment. The PSU is the heart of your system after all. You don't need anything fancy or overkill. For example, you can pair it up with the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W and you'll be golden.

It would work, but I'd reccomend a better power supply like a RM750 or AX760.

Also if you want a GTX 780 Ti faster than the EVGA superclocked and cheaper than the regular one take a look at MSI Twin Frozr, I have a Twin Frozr GTX 780 and it's extremely quiet.

The GPU needs at least 42A on the 12V rail. Your CX600 can output 46A. So yeah, you'll be cutting it too close for my liking.
