So I've just changed to my new case and installed a 120gb 840 evo. Everything went smoothly, I think but the monitor is getting no signal. My build is

AMD A8 5600K with stock cooler
Palit Jetstream GTX 760
Gigabyte GA-F2A75M-D3H mobo
Seagate barracuda 1TB HDD
Samsung 840 evo 120GB SSD
LG DVD drive
Corsair value 8GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM

I have tried putting the monitor in both mobo and Graphics card slots. Previously, I would only get a signal with a DVI-I to VGA adapter for my solely VGA monitor and still have the adapter. I have tried completely removing the video card, but to no avail. Could I have fried the graphics card or mobo?

All the fans power up, including video card fans, so something is working.

^^ This. Check and see that it's plugged into the correct DVI, the Palit GTX 760 has dual DVI, only one supports VGA adapters, the other does not. Ask me how I know this can happen... lol

Also, try this:

Remove the GTX 760.
Plug in the monitor into your on-mobo connections.
Clear the CMOS.
Boot it up.

See if you get something on the screen at that point. When you're moving things around with the graphics and such, changing slots, adding drives etc, it's better to simplify things down to a minimum and then go from there.

Are all the power cables connected properly?

Are the case standoffs installed correctly?

Do you have another monitor to try?

I would connect directly from the videocard with no adapter. Also make sure you know, if there are multiple DVI ports on the GPU, only ONE works with a VGA adapter.
