Is it bad to have a VGA monitor for gaming?

I have a pretty good gaming PC, and I have this monitor:

22 inch lg 22en33s-b

The monitor only has D-sub, so it's connected with VGA to my PC. Should I get a monitor with DVI or HDMI?

No reason for this at all, unless you are gaming at full hd or higher resolution, where dvi or hdmi are pretty much essential and provide better quality image. Below that, no visual difference.

I've used both vga and hdmi. And I'm currently using VGA I see no problems.
There is no noticeable difference
