my rig has an i5 2300, 2.8 GHz (3.1 GHz turbo), and i want to upgrade my gpu to a GTX 760, is there any possibility it will bottleneck the GPU? and i've heard it can be overclocked a little (by 400MHz max), so is it really possible
thanks in advance

I remember seeing this question not 30 minutes ago.

On Topic:
Your CPU is fine, sure it can be OC'd, just make sure you use standard vcore voltages if you aren't equipped with a decent cooler.

Yeah, for comparison, it is on par with an overclocked AMD quad core of today (Like the FX-4300).

It is still a great CPU, but I think you might have some issues with a GTX 760 in some games (CPU intensive games). For the most part though, I think it should be fine.
