Hi. I'm going to buy a new desktop pc but I can't decide the components I should choose. I'm not interested in doing OC. I will use this pc for games, but I'm not a professional gamer, I'm not interested in running all games in ultra quality, with a mid-high performance I'll be just fine. What's more, next year I will start my engineer degree so I'll need mi PC for design (I will use CAD software).

Here I attach the main configurations:

1.
Intel Core i5-4670 3.4Ghz Box
Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO CPU Cooler
G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL7
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3
Samsung 840 Evo SSD Series 120GB SATA3
AeroCool V3X Advance Devil Red Edition
Tacens Valeo V 700W 80 Plus Silver Modular
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5
LG GH24NSB0 Grabadora DVD 24x Negra
Samsung S22D300HY 22" LED

2.

Intel Core i5-4670 3.4Ghz Box
Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO CPU Cooler
G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL7
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3
(NO SSD)
AeroCool V3X Advance Devil Red Edition
Tacens Valeo V 700W 80 Plus Silver Modular
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 OC 2GB GDDR5
LG GH24NSB0 Grabadora DVD 24x Negra
Samsung S22D300HY 22" LED

3.

Intel Core i7-4770 3.4Ghz Box
Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO CPU Cooler
G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL7
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3
(NO SSD)
AeroCool V3X Advance Devil Red Edition
Tacens Valeo V 700W 80 Plus Silver Modular
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5
LG GH24NSB0 Grabadora DVD 24x Negra
Samsung S22D300HY 22" LED

Which one of them will fit my needs best?

#1 is best. SSD is fast and GPU + CPU are fast as hell too. Based on your info you won't notice difference between i7 and i5, like 99% of people, but SSD you will notice. And a 760 will play games at all High/Ultra settings. more than enough.

I would suggest a better monitor.

I have a limited budget, do you think the gtx 760 is worth it over the ssd? Or maybe I'll have enough with the 660. And for games the i5 will be good, but will it be enough for CAD?
Thanks so much

I assume you are buying a prebuilt system. What country?

My new thought is this:
1)drop the SSD for now. You can always add one later, although you would have to reinstall Windows. This way you don't sacrifice in GPU.
2)Instead of i5 or i7 how about a Xeon? The Xeon CPUs are essentially a i7 without graphics. Also, they are priced between the i5 and i7.
3)RAM: why 1600 CL7? I'd rather have 1866 CL 9.
4)CPU cooler. You can use the intel cooler since you aren't overclocking. And later, buy a cheap cpu cooler like TX3 if the CPU gets hot.
5)GPU. Why not a 660ti? Its performance is between a 660 and 760.

some things to consider.....

That is exactly what I thought about the ssd, it's not as essential as the gpu. I didn't think about the xeon, but I'll see the new price with it (I'm from Spain and I'm not going to buy a prebuilt system hehehe it's a page where you can choose the components and they build it for you, pccomponentes.com). About the ram, the motherborad doesn't support 1866, I'd have to buy a z87/z97 chipset and I think it's not worth it as I'm not doing OC. The CPU cooler... well, here in Spain when summer arrives... it's really really hot :D And the 660 ti is not available in that page.

Thanks for your advice, these computers are doing my head in!!

Another thing I'd like to ask you: the i5 4570 is the same as the 4670 but its speed is 3.2 ghz instead of 3.4 ghz. Do you think I should save 20 euros and go with the 4570? As for the gpu, gigabyte has a gtx 760 with two fans instead of three, so that it makes it cheaper. will the two fans be enough? And the last question, is the 80 plus certificate of the PSU noticeable?

Really the difference is that the max turbo freq. of 4570 is 3.6GHz whereas 4670 is 3.8GHz. Probably can't tell the difference and if on budget then get the 4570.

2 or 3 fans for GPU: usually the higher end use 3 fans (Gigabyte and Sapphire) for some models but 2 fans can be just as good. This is not an issue. 2 fans is plenty.

PSU: you want at least 80+ Bronze to make sure it delivers reliable load and so it doesn't generate a lot of wasted heat.
