SO i am thinking of replacing my tv with a monitor, i mostly play cod, and a bit of gta 5. [PS3] What would be the best monitor under $220 that would be good for running black ops 2 also could you guys explain to me what is the difference between 60hz monitor and 120hz and explain to me anything else i need to know!
Thanks

EDit; Also I am thinking of getting a BenQ 24" G2412HD is that good? also it says it has a 5ms/2ms GTG response time and was wonderig why there is two response time.

A PS3 outputs at 60hz. If you have a 120hz television then the monitor will output two frames for every 1 frame your PS3 outputs. This should barely be noticeable and any downside to this (some people argue there is a downside, most don't) will be massively outweighed by the futureproofing of having a monitor that outputs greater than 60hz.

Just in case you're curious as to how framerates work, here is a little thread on the subject:

And here's a neat thread about a monitor under $220 USD!

Hope that helps.

This monitor appears to have a faster response time when BenQ's proprietary 'Advanced Motion Accelerator' technology is active. Without this technology active (I assume there's an option to disable it via the monitor's built-in controls) it will respond at 5ms.

Here's a thread featuring a discussion on the monitor, it seems most people who bought it are very satisfied. Assuming they're not BenQ employees or salesmen who bought too many of them and are trying to shift them to customers, it seems it's a good choice..!
