Hello,

I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU because my old mb was giving me problems. I upgraded to an affordable amd 8 core processor and a motherboard which supported the socket type. I used to use a gigabyte mb and core i7 960 processor which they discontinued, which is why I also upgraded my cpu. To replace the parts I had to also reinstall windows and start fresh. Before replacing the parts BF4 ran great on high settings for many months and I never had a single issue. After installing the new hardware the game would crash during the loading screen. I realized my drivers were not updated, so I updated the drivers and started the game again. This time the match would load, but when I spawned it would always crash within a minute. I deleted the drivers and re-updated them... still same issue. Repairing the game did nothing. Can anyone help with this issue? Other games run fine. I've only played dota 2 and spec ops the line since replacing my mb and cpu and those work fine.

OLD HARDWARE:
mb: gigabyte x58A-ud3r (rev1)
cpu: intel core i7 960
Graphics: Radeon HD 9660 4gb gddr5
16gb ddr3 ram

NEW HARDWARE
mb: ASROCK 990 fx extreme9
cpu: amd fx 8350
graphics: same
16gb ddr3 ram

Try a clean install of the OS and the new drivers, there could be driver issues since you changed to a different system without doing so.

When I installed the hardware I did a clean install of windows 7.
