HELP new pc build no display, no beeps, no cpu/ram led

I have just put together a new build and i am not getting any image to my monitor. I am using hdmi, i have tried it in both the garphics card and the mobo and also taken the graphics card out. I have also tried vga and nothing is working. Im using a gigabyte h87m-hd3 mobo, The vans work fine and optical drive but no display, no beeps, no cpu or ram led nothing. Need help asap

Are you sure you have all the headers plugged in correctly? can you give a full list of your specs please. check connections reseat RAM CPU Graphics card. Have you applied thermal paste? is the CPU 4-8pin cord plugged in? When you power it up do you get any response? lights of any kind? Does it start up for a second then shut off? are the fans moving when you press the power button?

the fans spin, the system stays on and i get the power light on but no lights on the motherboard. i didnt apply paste the the cpu but used the stock fan which had the paste on it i think?
