After playing on World of Warcraft( on ultra graphics settings) for about an hour i noticed a lot of heat coming from the front of my pc.
After opening the case i noticed the psu was a little warm and the graphics card was running at about 71*c(according the afterburner) but the cd drive was really hot(even though its not being used).
my pc is
Power Supply : Cosair vs650 watt Power Supply
Motherboard : Gigabyte H81M-S2PV
CPU : Intel I7 4th Gen 4770 Quad Core 3.4Ghz (turbo 3.9Ghz) CPU
Hard Drive : 1tb Sata3 7200 RPM Hard Drive
Memory : 16gb DDR3 1600mhz Memory
Graphics Card : Nvidia GTX 770 2gb DDR5 TRIPLE OUTPUT
Optical Drive : 24x Dual Layer DVD Writer- Atapi ihas124
Is there a fault with the cd drive or does it just need some cooling?
