I've a home-built PC with Antec Sonata mid tower case. last sunday after coming back from a weekend NY trip, i pressed power on button to power up the pc, when nothing happened, i realized my wife had turned off the power strip where the PC power was plugged in prior to the trip.
after i turned on the power strip, immediately there was a loud noise coming from PC, like a fan hitting something hard, also the pc gave off a burning smell. afterwards pc went dead.
any idea what part i should check or replace?
