  1. There should be already be USB ports on the back of the motherboard.
    What motherboard do you have?
  2. I don't have yet, but when I was looking at the pc parts and I saw that's the motherboard has more USB ports than the case, my question is where can you connect the other usb ports if your case has less USB ports than the motherboard, at this case:
    Motherboard - 6 USB ports ( 4x USB 3.0 2x USB 2.0).
    Case ( corsair 300R ) - 2 USB 3.0 slots.
    Thank you.
  3. Your USB ports doesn't all connect to the case. Most of the time it is just two USB or more ports which has a cable that connects to the mother board providing a connection allowing you to use the front usb ports. The rest will be on the back of the motherboard.
  4. And can I use them?
  5. Yes they are all usable.
Are you getting a prebuilt pc?
  6. No I am trying to build him by my own.
But how do you reach those USB ports?
The motherboard is inside the case.
    Thank you

You have these USB headers on the motherboard: http://www.motherboards.org/images/reviews/motherboards/1694_p3_18.jpg?
The case already has the USB ports installed on the front. You just need to connect them with the cable attached to the front usb ports to the USB header on the motherboard.'USB 3.0 looks different from USB 2.0.
What motherboard are you getting? Model number and brand?
  8. I still don't know which motherboard I will buy I asked this question because it didn't make sense that's the case has less USB ports than the motherboard.
    Now I understand, thank you.
When I will save enough money for all the parts I will ask you which parts I should buy.
