My system is going to be used for video editing and gaming (at 1080p), here are the specs:

Corsair Air Series AF120
Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 16GB 2x8GB CL9
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 OC 3GB GDDR5
Intel Core i7-4790K
MSI Z97 Gaming 7
Tacens Valeo V 900W 80 Plus Silver Modular

yep. Beast rig, althought if i were you i would get higher clock RAM's maybe at 2100.

Avoid that power supply at all costs. Get an EVGA, SeaSonic, or XFX PSU.

How is it some folks have such high end hardware but are unaware of the limitations of such an investment? Unless this is something you are looking into purchasing, in which case it is definitely 'good enough'.

There is literally no reason to buy higher clock speed RAM for gaming, at most you're looking at a 2-3fps increase, probably less than that.
Watafak's advice is pretty pointless.

i dont know what your budget is, but based on your rest components i dont think money will be an issue.
Either get this 850W or the 1000W.
The 1000W would be an overkill but i always like to have extra POWAAAAA.
