Cant get online on my cell phone wireless

Hi I have a cell phone droid 3 it runs off linux system, and I have a Belkin wireless G router, and it says im conected to the internet but it wont let me load pages. Any ideas on whats going on are what to do to fix the problem?? Please help Id reall apreciate it. Thank you.

Not shure what you mean by cell phone os system im use to computers like laptops desktops. I do have linux, and windows 7 on my thinkpad is how I found out that linux wont work like my cell phone that woulden't. All droid cell phones run off linux system. Yes my thinkpad laptops work wireless on the router just nothing that runs linux system. Thank you for replying. Any suggetstions on what to do?

"Nothing that runs linux system" - what other devices have you tried?

Is your wireless G router using at least WPA-2 and TKIP encryption?
Download terminal emulator app and try to ping windows machine from android phone, this way we can see if you have no network access, or network access but no internet.

I do have a WPA-2 and TKIP encryption I can get online fine like I am right now off my laptop running windows 7 just when I connect off of my cell phone running linux it says im connected but when I hit the browser it wont load anything as if im not online like it says so confused. I appreciate your help I hope im answering things enough to get it :/

Try like i suggested and download terminal emulator on your andrid phone.
You can then ping the ip address of the router and your laptop.
If that works you know that the network connection is fine, if that is the case then there must be a DNS issue or something in your router blocking those PCs to the WAN interface.

I dont know what a terminal emulator is? Im sorry im still a learner always something to learn I was thinking it was somthing in the router settings thats blocking it. If you can tell me hgow to do what you suggest Id be so greatful im sorry im so new to all this :/
