Hello,Months ago i have bought my laptop and had 4 GB of RAM in it but there was a slot that i saw that could fit another 4 GB of RAM.So I bought 4GB of ram ddr3 (I checked everything twice to be sure) and put it on the slot.When I go to the Computer Properties it shows me 8.00 GB (7.89 GB Usable) but when I go see Virtual Memory it shows 6142 and stays at that.If i lower it,the next time computer restarts it will be again 6142.Same for making it more.By the way,when i put that 4GB of RAM,my computer went 10% slower and not faster as I saw + my computer is now overheating (not shutdowning) for no reason.I keep restarting my laptop every 3 hours i think,but still..Anyways my OS is Windows 8 64 Bit.What could be the problem?
I have 8GB(4x2)of RAM but shows 6.
