I've been having a lot of troubles with various games (Some, not all; Mostly Source games) recently where the game will simply freeze up and random times and the audio will start skipping. The problem is not terminal, however, as simply tabbing out and then tabbing back in again usually corrects the problem. These issues seemed to start after I wiped my computer with DBAN and reset my BIOS's CMOS. Is it possible that something went wrong as a result? I read on the Valve support site that this could be caused by bad PCI latency timings, but I've no idea how to change that as my BIOS does not have any options to change it.

Having new issues now. Computer sometimes completely locks up with a black screen and a much faster sound loop (identical to the BSOD sound), however there are no dumps. My temperatures look fine and I have a Corsair 850W power supply. What's going on here? Is something failing?
