For 30 more bucks I'd recommend getting a used Gigabyte R9 290 GDDR5-4GB . I picked one up for $298 from Amazon's Warehouse. Amazon is great with returns if you have a problem. Me and my buddy ordered them a few weeks ago and they've been working flawlessly.

As for the CPU/cooler, I find it a bit odd to spend 50% of the cpu cost on an already budget CPU. I'd say drop the cooler and go for one of the new i5's. Stock i5 outperforms the FX-6300. On top of that, it's using less power and you can overclock it down the road with a Hyper 212 for 30 bucks.

In the end if you just change:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K
Motherboard: MSI Computer Corp. Motherboard ATX DDR3 1333 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z87-G41 PC MATE
Video Card: Gigabyte R9 290 GDDR5-4GB

Those changes would put you at $820 total and the performance increase of the GPU alone is ~30% ... just my 2c
