So i just built my new rig. I installed 2x 4gb Kingston HyperX Fury Blue (1600 DDR3). If i wanted to add more memory in the future. Do i have to get the same exact RAM?
Thanks,

PS. (Kinda newish to the PC building world)

Solution
Real answer is a big MAYBE, there's never any guarantee that mixing sticks will work - even if you get another set of the same exact model - and no DRAM doesn't automatically downclock to the slowest stick, that went away a long time ago. When first installed DRAM goes to the mobos default, then you either use the OC profiles (via XMP, DOCP, EOCP) or you set them up manually
