I have seagate 1TB Ext HDD and my laptop has Windows7 home basic Cant take any backup

I have seagate 1TB Ext HDD and my laptop has Windows7 home basic. When i am trying to take backup from windows option its running around 59% and then during creation of backup point it's getting stopped. Windows troubleshooter has no particular msg except Error Code: 0x80070002

... :-(. my ext hdd has enough space.



Please help advance thanks.

I had followed all steps mentioned in above links but encountered one new error Msg: Error code: 0x8078012D.... :-( but fortunately found solutions in same link and had to run Chkdsk /R. Then i could run my buckup successfully.... :)
