I'm currently using -
- GTX 770
- i7 4790
- 8 GB ram

For some reason, some of the options are blacked out, like object quality. I've seen videos online where people can customize their anti-aliasing to 16x, while I can only set mine to 4x. Is there something specific which limiting my performance capabilities? I don't know if this makes a difference, but my game is disk ran? Is also normal that I can only run it at 35 fps on average?

Solution
Is it the original Crysis? The one from 2007?

When you're in-game, object quality will be grayed out. You're going to have to go back to the main menu to change it. Not sure about the anti-aliasing, but I'll look into it.

EDIT: I've found that there are both DX9 and DX10 versions of the game. If you opened the DX10 version, it should allow for 'Very High' settings instead of just 'High'.

Also, is your game patched up? The latest was a v1.2.1 I think.
And Anti-aliasing for upto x16 gave no real difference in the game. Beyond x4, the difference was same.

Thank you so much for your answer! Yeah, I was talking about the original 2007 Crysis. Initially, I didn't realize that you could alter the object texture in the main menu.

I tried updating the game internally, then manually, but for some reason, both times, I get some extraneous message about the game's condition.

This teaches me; never buy a game, no matter how good the deal is unless it's on Steam, Origin, or it's downloadable.

Thanks again!
