is the new i5 4460 lga 1150 3.2ghz better than the old 3450 3.1 ghz lga 1155
in these 2 which is more ideal for gaming
does the new one have any set backs from the old one

yeah its for a new build next mnth .then i ll get a 4460
since it is a lga 1150 socket i want a 1150 mobo that has usb 3.0
preferences for gigabyte, asrock, msi, ....


budget below 100 bucks

As far as I know, you need a supported CPU in order to update the BIOS. So it would be very useless to buy that CPU and motherboard combo if the BIOS version is not F5. Updating is easy. Just boot into the BIOS and it should have an update feature. It is as simple as that. But you can't do it without a supported CPU. So hence, it's useless.

so is there a mobo that supports that cpu that has usb 3 headers and below 80$
