I don't know what video card to get? Do I need one? These are all links. I already have a case. Do I need anything else to build it?

Since when has anything Corsair been "junk". They are one of the most reliable brands.

Going to any of those i5s would be a step down in performance in battlefield 4 due to its heavy multithreading. He would only see an improvement if he went with a FX 9 or Core i7.

You'll also need a storage drive and you may consider getting some form of after market cooler such as a Hyper 212 Evo.

As far as GPUs, I recommend a GTX 770, R9-290, or R9-290X or GTX 780.

Yes you need a GPU.

I suggest the R9 280X.

16 GB of RAM is overkill for BF4 (8 GB is the most you'll need).

Mobo is fine.

CPU is good.

PSU is ok.

With this you'll get over 60 FPS.

Actually, I agree with you corsair is one of the best and most reliable brands out there.

Only some of their psus are junk, the CX, CS, RM series are bad, but the really good ones are the HX, AX and I believe the AXI flagship series.

Not that bad, just not as good as others, but there are people who are perfectly happy with these in their systems. You just have to watch that they don't run that hot and on max capacity all the time,no psu really should.
For example a cx500 should run fine with an i5 4460 and a r9 270X with a ssd+1hdd and the other standard components. There are probably so many sold of these that you almost can expect a higher number of fails and with that more complaints.
